Origin: India 

Description: Sandalwood's botanical name is Santalum album, and it is a member of the Santalaceae class. The tree can reach a height of 30 feet and matures in 30 - 60 yrs.Steam distillation is used to obtain sandalwood from mature tree wood. This oil contains 78 percent santalol therefore it provides numerous benefits.

  • The oil is also an aphrodisiac and can be used to treat migraines & headaches.
