Placing an Order
You can place your orders:
On-line or by phone with one of our customer service representatives at 1-888-612-6461. Currently, we have no minimum purchase ordering. All orders will be checked within 24 hours of receipt so that any discrepancies may be addressed. Once an order has been confirmed we will not accept any additions or deletions to that order. If you wish to have any item removed after the order has been packed, a restocking fee will be applied to cover the cost of removing the item(s) and repacking the order. The fee will be 25% of the cost of the items removed. Any additions will be treated as a new order with all applicable guidelines. Please ensure that all orders are accurate prior to finalizing.
Since orders are processed so quickly, efficiently and sometimes in less than 2 hours, they can not be cancelled if shipped out the same day. If the order has not been shipped out same day, but order has been filled, it will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Verbal and fax orders can be cancelled same day if orders have not been packed. Please call us immediately and we will evaluate the order.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Pay Pal, Certified Cheque, Money Order, Direct Bank Transfer, E-mail Transfer. We do not accept Wire Transfers. All payments will be taken before an order is packed and shipped. For Direct Deposit Payments, customers are encouraged to fax us a copy of the confirmation of payment to 1-888-612-6461.
Please note that: All credit card orders with a subtotal of $500.00 or more, or having a different bill-to and ship-to address, will require an authorization form to be filled out, signed and returned by the card holder.
Our default shipping agent is Canada Post and USPS. Sunrise Botanics has the right to change the courier for your order to FedEx or DHL if necessary. In all cases, Sunrise Botanics passes on our heavily discounted rates to you, our customer. We do not operate our shipping department to make money! Our flat rate shipping is for a maximum of 5 kg. We reserve the right to change the shipping charges for remote locations. If this occurs, you will be contacted for approval before your order is processed. Orders are shipped from our central warehouse in Toronto, Canada. We currently ship ground courier to all provinces in Canada. We do not have any distributor. In cases of shipping arrangements other than standard ground service including expedited shipments, all additional charges for customs and or brokerage will be the responsibility of the customer. Sunrise Botanics takes no responsibility for any loss, damages, or delay that may occur. Similarly, we must be notified should additional insurance be required. Without notification, we will ship products without insurance. We currently do not require orders to be signed when delivered. However should customers want the signature required option, a fee of $10.00 will be charged by Canada Post or UPS. Additional Charges: If you call Canada Post to re-direct your parcel to another address OR if your address is input incorrectly or missing information and requires a Canada Post update - there will be a charge between $10-$15 which will be billed to the customer. Alternative shipping method are available on request, however we take no responsibility for shipping that is arranged by our customers. This includes the following: Customers using their own shipping account Customers using their own courier Customers arranging for a third party to facilitate shipping Should a customer decide to handle their own shipping arrangements, we require that a WAIVER be signed. This ensures that we aren't held accountable for any shipping issue outside of our control; similarly, in the event that we receive a shipping related invoice under these conditions, it will authorize us to process the customer's credit card. Please note that in all instances where payment is required, a copy of the invoice will be forwarded with receipt for payment. Essential Oils are classified as Hazardous Goods when shipped by air. Because of this only ground shipments are available for essential oils. Express shipments (Air) are available at cost on bottles and raw materials. Back orders, though rare, are not automatically shipped. Regular ordering policies will apply on arrival of stock. Pick Up Orders
Sunrise Botanics does not have any pick up service available as this allows us to offer the most competitive pricing in the industry by keeping our costs low.
Every so often, we have sales promotions on select products for limited periods of time based on various reasons such as bulk discounts that we negotiated with our vendors. From time-to-time, we hold final clearance sales on items offered at extra discounted prices. Make sure to check our Sales page often. Test.
The sales tax charged depends on where you ask Sunrise Botanics to ship the order as follows:
- Ontario: 13% HST
- Prince Edward Island: 14% HST
- New Brunswick, Newfoundland/Labrador, Nova Scotia: 15% HST
- All other provinces BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Quebec, Saskatchewan & NWT, Yukon: 5% GST
- USA: No taxes
Please note: As of July 1st 2010, no business in Ontario will be tax exempt.
