Botanical Name: Bergenia ligulata
Pashanabhed is an evergreen plant which is thought to be a native of central Asia and in particular regions such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, North India, Tibet and China.
The plant is used in Ayurveda as a cure for various ailments such as urinary tract infections, ulcers, wounds and rheumatic pains. The leaves of the plant are also used to cure fevers.
