Description: This tangerine looking fruit is normally harvested in autumn while still green, although the fruits eventually turn into an orange, yellow colour.

Common Uses: Yuzu Essential Oil is used most often in perfumery applications as it has longer staying power in a blend. Yuzu Essential Oil is still considered a top note, but its natural aroma does not dry out as quickly as the other citrus oils. Emotionally, the aroma is uplifting and brings a sense of joy.

Aromatic Scent:  Tangy and citrus like a mix of mandarin and grapefruit. 

History:  Yuzu originated in China and spread to Korea and Japan around the 8th century.  This citrus fruit is very popular in Japan with the fruit and juice traditionally used in vinegar and seasoning.
