INCI Name: Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil

Description: Avocado Oil is a Carrier Oil that contains no solvents, chemicals, or preservatives. It contains a variety of nutrients including Vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E, and Beta carotene. Avocado Oil is a monounsaturated oil best suited for dry skin conditions in topical applications.

Avocado Oil Uses: Avocado Refined Carrier Oil (Mexico) is a stable, emollient, and highly penetrating oil Carrier Oil. The natural vitamin content of Avocado Oil, namely, vitamin A and E assists in natural collagen production; and this leads to improved skin tone and texture. Together with potassium and sterolins, these nutrients encourage epidermal cell turnover, making the oil ideal for anti-aging products, dry skin formulations and as a treatment for damaged skin cells (burns, scars) and a range of skin conditions that include eczema and psoriasis. Avocado Oil is rich in unsaturated essential fatty acids and is a natural choice for hydrating skin and hair care formulations.

Our Avocado Oil is an ideal Carrier Oil for use in lightly colored and white formulations.

Shelf Life:  Avocado Oil has a two year shelf life with proper storage. Protect Carrier Oils from light, heat and humidity. Refrigeration after opening is recommended and will extend shelf life.
