Description: The plant grows to 90-125 cm high with very hairy leaves and tubular yellow flowers, surrounded by white ligulets.
Color: Bluish green liquid.
Common Uses: Chamomile Moroccan is effective as an analgesic, anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antibacterial, carminative, cholagogue, digestive, emmenagogue, febrifuge, fungicidal, hepatic, nerve sedative, stimulant of leucocyte production, stomachic, sudorific, vermifuge, and as vulnerary agent. This herb has a long-standing medical tradition especially in Europe, such as nervous dyspepsia, nervous bowel, tension headaches, and sleeplessness; especially useful for all children's conditions, calming without being depressing. The essential oil is an excellent skincare remedy; it has many of the same qualities as Roman chamomile, except that its anti-inflammatory properties are greater because of a higher percentage of azulene.
