Description: Labdanum Absolute is made by extracting crude labdanum gum which in turn is derived from the boiling of leaves and twigs of Cistus ladaniferous in water. The plant is gathered and extracted mainly in Spain but is found growing wild in South France, Morocco and other Mediterranean countries.
